They say that sex sells…so lame dudes is going gold…Everytime you turn on the radio..you’re hearing some pure trash…Hip Hop went beyond mainstream…our culture is not the same….But not all of it is garbage..There are still some lyricists male & female who are extremely nice with the wordplay and spit that shit that makes one thinks deeply and love the Hip Hop culture even more..
We barely get to hear those on the radio airwaves.
But what we do get to hear is the same BS that is setting trends, influencing and misinforming our youth and our culture. I’m a REALIST..and strive to fuck with niggahs that are my kind…REALISTS…Most of us move accordingly..are highly intelligent and strive for perfection..We are CEO’s that were in the wrong market…entrepreneur spirited Hustlers whose objectives & goals in life were unlimited…Our aims were high, but the target was sometimes an illusion and now we are reorganizing & regrouping, getting on point…Prison is a Universal University and some of us are taking advantage of that to sharpen our minds even more.
Some of us had Big names…some of us didnt..but we still moved with some precision and were cut from the same cloth [some of ya’ll niggahs were rags!!]
A lot of rappers of today’s generation like to use certain namesakes as creditability to their so called “gangsta”…like they were standing in the very same circles or moving in that crowd as that same name brand realist whose name they’re spitting in their lyrics…We hear that shit all the time from the so called top 5 rappers of radio “Hip Hop” [YOU KNOW WHO]
Some of these named dudes I broke bread with, ate with, or built relationships with since I’ve been traveling in these United States Federal Concrete and Steel Jungles…we hear the rapper slash spitter Rick Ross forever spitting about his “manz”..”Black aka Boobie” from the Infamous “Boobie Boyz” of Miami, Fl…I know Son very well..thats my dude… I asked him before..) said “Yo Black..that Rick Ross niggah can spit..Son is nice, but he screams your handle out like he was eating with you…whats up with Ross?”
Blackboy looked at me and smiled before breaking into a laugh..Black is very laid back and quiet dude..a strategist thinker “Yo. ShaKim. I fucks with you..No Doubt..so I’m say this…Rick Ross is Rick Ross..He reps..I dont know him..He checks for me..E Class is my peoples..that’s MY FAMILY right there”
